YaraLiva® UCAN®-17

Apple: At establishment and for young, non-bearing trees apply .1-.25 pounds N/tree. Utilizing YaraLiva products such as UCAN-17(dependent upon application preferences and cultural practices) will supply nitrate N for rapid uptake and vegetative growth. Soluble Ca is also provided which ensures proper cell division and growth during tree establishment. For established orchards, apply 55-70 pounds N/tree is split applications at post harvest and again in spring at flowering. The rate is dependent upon several factors such as soil and tissue analysis as well as variety, tree population and pruning. Calcium is also very important for cell wall strength and to ensure against physiological disorders such as bitter pit. Consult local agronomist for further details and local recommendations.

Oranges: Apply 0.5-2.0 lb N per tree per year dependent upon soil test, tree age and production. YaraLiva Tropicote provides soluble calcium, very important for cell development and cell wall strength. Pre-bloom applications helps in fruit setting. Consult your agronomist for further details.

Potatoes: General applications of 50-100 lb of Nitrogen through UCAN-17 during early bulking as part of your total Nitrogen plan are recommended. This rate provides fast acting nitrate nitrogen and much needed soluble calcium for tuber quality.
